MIL and baby name.

My MIL has said if we give our child the middle name we have said she won't have anything to do with the baby.

Due to something that apparently happened to her in past by a man with this name!? Opinions?

I’ve told my dc to never discuss names of their babies before they have registered the birth.
Ok some of the names may not have been my first choice……..but it’s not my decision

That's tricky! I couldn't get an appointment to register the birth of DS until he was three months old (COVID backlog).
