For a girl? What's your thoughts?

I love it in one breath but is it faddy? Having doubts.

I love it, and I’m usually pretty conservative about names. I always think of how I’d feel as an adult with cutesy names, I’d be happy to be a wren!

I know a couple under 2. It is cute but does seem faddy to me.

Faddy, fey and whimsical IMO. Also, probably because of the fashion designer who died a few years back, I hear it as L’Wren missing its and apostrophe.

I really hate it. Hate Robin too and Willow (which I know is not a bird but comes in the same category of fey nature names).

Objectively I really like the sound, but I do think it's faddy and will date quickly.

I love Robin too but to me it has a different vibe as it's much more classic. You might also like Lark/Larkin which feels similar (maybe a bit more surname-y) but much less trendy so unlikely to feel as time-stamped in future.

Sorry it's a no from me reminds me of the Women's Royal Navy which were called Wrens. And the kitchen people.

Love it. I think it suits a girl more than a boy though, but that's just my opinion.

Not sure about it. Cant understand why it's popular when Karen isn't. I had a friend Karen who went by the shortening of Wren.

Faddy

It sounds like a classic to me. I prefer it to Renée. I think it will just become widely used.

It’s fine. Very of the moment but not a dreadful name.

I know a baby called Wren and I have to say I'm not keen when I hear it in use day in day out. That said I'm sure she'll be gorgeous whatever name you choose. 💞

I don’t like it. To me it implies that girls should be fragile, delicate, tiny wee things. I’d much rather a stronger sounding name.

Not for me, sorry. It's a very cute small bird, not a name for a child. I'm not sure it's faddy exactly, but I do think it's a little silly.

Only Wren I've met was a boy. I do like it for a girl but couldn't use it as it reminds me of Ren and Stimpy...

It's just a bit weak for me. Limp.

I like it but it’s one of those names that seems to require the owner to be dainty, like Grace.

You could put Lauren on the birth certificate but use Wren day to day.

That gives your daughter options at least.

Reminds of a kitchen. Trendy, silly and will not stand the test of time! Poor child will be stuck with it for life.
