Nature/bohemian names

I quite like nature names, names with a slight bohemian feel to them. Some of the names I like are Amber, Jasmine and Skye. All of them feel a bit dated now as they peaked in popularity a while ago, but I'm still tempted to use Amber.
I just wondered what other names I might like, nothing too unusual. If this baby is a girl she will be a summer baby. I love the name Summer but it's my friends daughters name and just feels a bit too close.

Other names on our list
Alannah
Daphne
Esme

Nothing feels quite right!

Amber is lovely. Dislike Wren immensely. Luna is terrible as it is way too close to loony/lunatic. Clover, Cassia, Bryony?

Are you seriously suggesting nutmeg and seashell, and if so, do you realise this is a human baby not a kitten Grin

Luredbyapomegranate · 27/01/2022 21:15

Jasmine is lovely, don’t think it’s dated. Amber is dated. Summer is about to be dated - has had it’s day (!)

I don't see Amber as dated. It is a bonus if it isn't at peak popularity just now. It's a lovely name.

MaddyMagellan · 27/01/2022 21:46

Amber is lovely, OP! Smile

😂 I was a bit more concerned about Buttercup!

Some of the names mentioned on this thread would be gorgeous if it was to name a flower fairy. But it's for a little girl who will grow up to be a woman and will presumably want to be taken seriously in certain situations.

Someone suggested Hay. Hay! Really?
I love Amber. We have a really sweet 3rd old one in our family.

Hay! It’s no worse than Moss and Leaf, I suppose. I know one each of those.

laurenGame · 28/01/2022 02:00

I also love Eden as a few suggested - what a stunning yet strong name.
