Hello there! I named my daughter Annabelle after my parents, Anna for Anne (my mother's middle name) and Belle for Bill (what my father went by instead of William). Her middle name is Reese :) So, Annabelle Reese. She just turned 9 at the beginning of December and has begged me for a reborn doll for ages now. Well, I finally got her one. She's not put her baby down since it arrived! She turned to me to help name her and I'd suggested Ellie, so I was actually googling to see what the meaning of the name was and stumbled upon this site and this post! I'm glad I did. It's difficult to name our children. Something they'll have for the rest of their lives and will have to learn to spell! (Which is why I never really went with odd spellings, even though I do kind of like them lol). I hope I could contribute to the middle name for Annabelle :) It took me quite a while to figure out a middle name for my Anna, so I understand. Now that we have a first name for her baby doll, it's off to figure out a middle name lol

Annabelle is enough it's essentially 2 names already imho. Rose works, but I personally don't understand these filler middle names for the sake of it...no meaning behind the choice and generally unused in everyday life anyhow.

A name to honour someone or a name you really liked for your child so they could adopt it if they decided they didn't like their chosen name makes sense, same if there were 2 people in their life who had the same name and it might cause confusion!

I knew of a hairdresser who worked in a salon with someone with the same name, she used the middle name so when a client phoned to book an appointment the receptionist knew who they wanted to cut their hair
