I’m having a little girl next week!!! And she still doesn’t have a 100% name.

What names would you use?

@nannybeach , did you mean to post that on a name thread? I don't think it's that people are that bothered about whether it's a boy or a girl - more that many people are "planners" or sometimes less fond of surprises.

Sometimes calling the baby inside you by their name can help with bonding even before birth. Or it might be that giving birth can be a shocking enough experience as it is, so knowing the babies sex and therefore what you will name him/her (and even particular nursery colours/themes or outfits ahead of time if that matters to you, although it doesn't to me) can be a part of birth "planning" and one less thing to worry about afterwards if you've had a difficult birth.

But thankfully if you do prefer the surprise, then hopefully the midwives/sonographer should keep schtum!
