Seren - outside of Wales?

What are people’s thoughts on Seren?
My DH is Welsh, but we live in England.

I wouldn’t, because:

• It seems popular in a slightly gimmicky way that would make it easily dateable. I have a name from a very specific time period myself, and the older I get the less I appreciate that.

- It will be mispronounced. - The only Seren I’ve ever met was super annoying. Though, her proper name was Serendipity.

I love it. I know several - all in England.
