Rose and Iris

I know a Tilly and Tabby and it's cute. (Matilda and Tabitha)

I also know a Lily and Rose, similar concept to your Rose and Iris. Also cute but can be Left and Right, too. But I love the name Iris.

Anna and Nina seem a bit too similar letterings but I believe people grow into their names so really hope to you what you like.

Chunkymenrock · 12/09/2021 19:57

Anna and Nina are the least bad but I don't actually like any of them.

Benvolio · 12/09/2021 20:00

Rose and Iris

Of your choices -
Not keen on Nina, Iris or Matilda
Anna and Rose are nice but not terribly exciting
Tabitha's a gorgeous name - would definitely use that one.

Comedycook · 12/09/2021 20:01

Anna and Nina

What would you give two sisters rather than twins? I suspect if these were "regular" sisters you'd be asking if e.g. Rose & Iris were too themed or if Anna and Nina seemed too matchy.

Wole · 12/09/2021 20:19

Rose & Anna
Don't like any of the others

  1. Matilda & Tabitha

Tilly and Tabby Grin

ilovemykids5 · 12/09/2021 20:22

Love Matilda and Tabitha but may get shortened to Tilly and Tabby which I don't like.

GemmaRuby · 12/09/2021 20:25

All nice names but I don’t like the matchy combos, I’d pick two names that aren’t so similar.

Wole · 12/09/2021 20:25

@ilovemykids5

Love Matilda and Tabitha but may get shortened to Tilly and Tabby which I don't like.
Agree Tilly & Tabby is awful
Goldbar · 12/09/2021 20:27

I don't like your combos, I'm afraid. I would go for Matilda and Iris/Anna and Rose. Not keen on Nina or Tabitha.

Madcats · 12/09/2021 20:31

If you don't know it already, maybe do a free trial to Ancestry.com or other family tree sites (my library gives me free online access). Some of the family names might appeal.

user1493494961 · 12/09/2021 20:33

Anna and Matilda. Agree with pp, Anna and Nina too many n's.

StarryStarrySocks · 12/09/2021 20:35

Anna and Iris.

Nahhh · 12/09/2021 20:36

When I was pregnant with twins every single twin I met advised me to not give them ‘twin names’

trulyconfuseddotcom · 12/09/2021 20:38

I know of sisters called Matilda & Tabitha, they get shortened to Tilly & Tabby which is quite sweet.

Hoowhoowho · 12/09/2021 20:39

Tabitha and Matilda but this way round so twin 2 gets to go first alphabetically

The others are nice names but 2 is too many N’s and 3 is too themed, if you have another set next year you’ve doomed yourself to thinking up flower names for ever more.

Pickuptruck · 12/09/2021 20:42

Rose and Iris

Matilda & Tabitha - so cute!

auldmaw · 12/09/2021 20:50

If you say #2 the other way round as Nina and Anna it sounds like the start of the Whigfield song Saturday Night! These were the names I wanted for my hypothetical twin girls until I realised that 🤣

KirstenBlest · 12/09/2021 20:51
  1. Matilda & Tabitha - too long. I'd feel shortchanged if I was the one named Tabitha.,
  2. Anna & Nina - like
  3. Rose and Iris - ok

I'd pick Anna and Nina

NatKat2 · 12/09/2021 20:52

Matilda and Tabitha x
