If you truly can't decide, you might want to think about whether you want a nn or not - is Juliet a Jules/Letty or a Juliet? If you want nn options go for Cecilia (Cece seems standard but I suppose there's Cissy and Lia too). If you'd prefer no nn then Serena is probably best, with Selena in middle (possible nn Lena?). All work with Joyce.

Smurftastic · 09/09/2021 15:47

@IamnotwhouthinkIam Juliet is mostly just called Juliet, sometimes Juju (she's still little). I guess it's boiling it down to whether I prefer to give the baby nickname options
Cecilia nn Cece, Celia
Serena nn Reena

I think Serena edges it for me slightly, it has a nicer meaning and won't get called 'Sissy'! Let's just hope it'll suit the baby if she ever decides to join us Grin.

Celeste - Favourite
Josephine - Least Favourite

lanbro · 09/09/2021 16:17

Favourite is Adeline but prefer Adelaide

TatianaBis · 09/09/2021 18:07

Camilla or Serena.

17caterpillars1mouse · 10/09/2021 09:37

Adeline - it's nice enough. I like Addie as a nn. I prefer Adelaide
Bianca - not a fan. I can't get passed the eastenders association
Camilla - not a fan, seems stuffy. I like Camille though
Cecilia - not a fan due to one I knew. Again feels a bit stuffy. I like Cecily
Celeste - it's OK
Daphne - not a fan
Felicity - I like it
Josephine - love it nn Effie or Joey
Serena - I like it
Sylvia - OK, I prefer Sylvie

Lovely names! I've added a couple of thoughts, as seems you have lots of support for most names already Smile

Bianca - I haven't seen Eastenders so don't have that association. My first thought was she is also a Shakespeare heroine (Taming of the shrew - she's not the shrew!) so could be a lovely connection between sisters Smile

Josephine - agree with comments about two 'J's in one family. Only one I'd have a second thought on.

Good luck!

DramaAlpaca · 11/09/2021 23:08

All lovely names with the exception of Bianca.

I thought Cecilia with Juliet when I first saw the list.

Tulips15 · 11/09/2021 23:42

Felicity is the only one I would consider
.
Bianca- Eastenders
Camilla- Married to Charles
Serena- Tennis player
The rest to me are ' old lady'

Mamainthemaking · 12/09/2021 00:15

My name is Josephine and I despise it. Much to my Mother’s dismay I’ve always shortened it to Josie. Don’t know any Josephines that do not shorten their names, so perhaps bare that in mind.

ThePunnyMonster · 12/09/2021 00:23

I like Celeste and Sylvia. Not keen on the others. Bianca is the worst.

frazzledfragglefromfragglerock · 12/09/2021 00:46

Juliet is my current fave and I already have a Josephine so that gets my vote 👍

frazzledfragglefromfragglerock · 12/09/2021 00:47

But I think Juliet and Daphne go well together and cecelia is another fave of mine.

Sorry not helped really lol
