Raven - Is this a good name for a girl?

Hi, I’ve just been drawn to the name Raven but wondering if it will carry well into adult hood?
And do I need to wait to see if she has dark hair? (Both DS and DD have brown hair taking after DH).

I think it’s beautiful! Works well on all ages, unusual but not unheard of/made up, easy to pronounce and spell.

Please don’t inflict Raven or Wendy on your future DD when there are literally thousands of lovely names out there to choose from!

Faith is infinitely better.

Wendy is awful though.

It's ok. It wouldn't raise my eyebrow if I heard it but I wouldn't choose it either. It did remind me of the show that's so Raven, and Raven was quite upbeat.

Don't bother waiting to see her hair colour...my daughter was born jet black and now is very blond! My husband and I both have dark hair from birth.

I would chose Raven over Wendy though!

The word is strong. It's an antidote to a lot of weak vowel heavy names that are fashionable.

I love Raven, Faith is ok. I’ve worked with a couple of weird Wendys so it just makes me think of them

I don't like the name Raven, I knew one she just like her name very aggressive. Having met a Raven who was like that further puts me off the name.

I don't mind the sound of the name but the birds are pretty creepy and ugly and so it spoils it for me!

I love Raven. DS goes to school with a Raven. Very blonde, shy and quiet.

Also met twin girls Luna and Raven which is so cute
