Can't decide between Clara and Lydia

Hi!

DM and I are a little bit stuck trying to choose a name for our 3 days old daughter.

One of us likes Clara, and the other one likes Lydia.
Lara is another one that we are considering.

Help, please!

Lydia, I find Lara harsh

I think Clara is dated.
Lara or Lydia both equally nice to me.

Clara is lovely.

Lara followed by Clara…dislike Lydia.

Love Lydia. It was the name of my Great Aunt and she would get called Lydie.

Clara! But not Lara.

Sara, Cara and Mara are also ok

Or Zara

I love the name Lydia

I have a Lydia, and considered Zara/Lara for DD.

I prefer Lydia to Clara or Lara but love the suggestion of Cora.

Lydia always makes me think of the Bennett sister who eloped with Wickham in Pride and Prejudice.

I vote Clara. I have one and haven’t come across any others. Lydia was on out shortlist for DS if he’d been a girl so I do like it but now I can’t get seen to get away from the Aunt Lydia and Lydia Bennett connotations

I think Sylvia and Juliet are in the same style.

Lydia has been spoilt by the abusive Aunt Lydia in the Handmaid's tale

Lydia is much prettier.

Lara is quite nice; or what about Laura?

I prefer Lydia. What about Lyra ?

Aunt Lydia in handmaids is a character and never referred to as just Lydia so it doesn't connect for me.

Lara is the nicest one out of all of them.

Lydia is one of my all time favourites even in the face of a Lydia I’m not very fond of and no beloved lydia’s in my life.
Clara is also lovely.
