Hypothetical plant baby names

Both my DDs have nature inspired middle names, Rose and Ivy. But last night I was relying to think of nature names for boys other than Rowan and girl nature names not ending in an y - so no holly, daisy, lily. And I am stumped/having a blank. This is just for curiosity as my baby days are done but hit me with your nature names. Outlandish is fine

And there are some plants that aren't traditional names that sound fine for a boy, like Briar or Sage.

ButterRose · 28/03/2022 03:30

vampirethriller - I love nature names and I came across the name Gentian which I loved. I think he was an Albanian Footballer pronounced G-en-ti-an (which I love) but since then I've realised most English speaking people online are pronouncing the name jen-shn (I'm not so keen on this)..... Can it be pronounced either way or which is correct? Please help

BlueFlavour · 28/03/2022 10:17

I really like Jonquil.

Amicompletelyinsane · 28/03/2022 10:24
