Hypothetical plant baby names

Both my DDs have nature inspired middle names, Rose and Ivy. But last night I was relying to think of nature names for boys other than Rowan and girl nature names not ending in an y - so no holly, daisy, lily. And I am stumped/having a blank. This is just for curiosity as my baby days are done but hit me with your nature names. Outlandish is fine

Violet is an obviously not ending on a y name for a girl or Primrose, Magnolia, Hebe

For boys Acer maybe? I know it's a tree not a plant

I'm a big fan of Sage, Laurel, Fawn and Fern. Hyacinth also springs to mind because of one the the sister's in Bridgerton (but she's not a big enough character that the name might become common). You could also go down the Greek deity line and pick a nature themed God/Goddess i.e Persephone, Demeter (Demi), Gaia etc.
