When I was at university (mid-nineties), the pretty/beautiful/sexy girls that all the boys chased and the other girls admired, were known as Abis, whether they were called Abi or not. (Like Karen is now used to describe entitled middle-aged women now (not something I ever do.)).

I remember noticing at school that all the Heathers were pretty. I think there was a movie about the same phenomenon but I swear I thought of it first

Funny, but after school years I struggle to identify the really pretty girls as I think it mattered a bit less to me... There was a very pretty girl at my university called Daniella.

Someone mentioned an Aimée up thread and I actually wonder if I know her as she does seem beautiful inside and out! The one I know is about to get married and is very lovely physically and personality-wise (afaik - I don't know her well).
