Hiya

To go with Watkins do you like

  • Seth
  • Jesse (my fave)
  • Ethan (his fave)
  • Douglas
  • Ace (wildcard)

Thanks! X

Jesse

PineapplePatsy · 16/07/2021 05:21

Not Jesse or Seth. It's Seff around here

I'd go Ethan Asa W

AvantGardening · 16/07/2021 07:28

Douglas

CatCup · 16/07/2021 07:30

Ethan

bjjgirl · 16/07/2021 07:51

Douglass

poodlepip · 16/07/2021 09:09

Thanks guys! Interesting such a split between them all. I agree with the slightly Lipsy ssseth issue.

Jesse is definitely a boy's name! But I take on board the insult, my other half mentioned that.

Not ace then🤣

I do like Douglas as baby Dougie and adult Doug. But a friend of ours has a dog called Doug haha! Like the middle name option.

I think it's between Jesse and Ethan so I'll see how things grow

Seth or Jesse.

ladyvimes · 16/07/2021 09:42

Ethan was on my list!! Love it!

Enough4me · 16/07/2021 10:29

Ethan above Seth
Ethan Douglas

KirstenBlest · 16/07/2021 11:51

Douglas then Ethan. I don't like the others.

TheCrowening · 16/07/2021 11:53

Ethan for me

DinosaurDiana · 16/07/2021 11:53

Seth and Douglas - little Dougie.
I like Jesse but it’s too much of a girls name for me.

bloominglovelyorange · 16/07/2021 11:55

I like Jesse the best it's lovely
I know a little boy with the name, he's so cool and name suits him! It's definitely not used as a girl name, just checked the official ONS statistics and over 66 (!) times more boys than girls were given this name. Virtually no girls given this name over past 25 years looking at the official statistics

sunflowerdaisies · 16/07/2021 12:31

@bloominglovelyorange did you check the Jessica and Jessies too? Most girls would be spelt differently but can still see why people associate it more as a girls' name.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 16/07/2021 12:39

Seth for me - lovely name imo. Ethan is quite popular, I find Jesse a bit feminine sounding, Ace is quite hipster (although a cool nn for Asa), and Douglas is okay but I'm less keen on the sound of Doug/Dougie.

pilates · 16/07/2021 12:47

Jesse or Ethan

SunSeaSurfGin · 16/07/2021 14:09

In order of preference

Seth
Douglas
Ethan
Jesse
Ace

CoalCraft · 16/07/2021 14:34

Jesse or Seth for me, Ethan a bit bland, Douglas doesn't sound nice to my ears and Ace to me doesn't sound like a name (at least not one to go with a nice ordinary surname like Watkins, sorry!)

Jesse my overall fave.

DalPalak · 16/07/2021 16:33

I love Douglas. Ethan is a good name too but I prefer the sound of Douglas.

Jesse and Seth both are very frail and hissy to me. The less said about Ace the better!

MayflowerMaisie · 16/07/2021 16:46

Seth

PinkFlamingo888 · 16/07/2021 17:47

I like them all! But Dougie is my favourite!
I wouldn’t personally choose Seth for the reasons others have said, it’s too difficult to say.

TheRosariojewels · 16/07/2021 17:51

Douglas

PeterIsACockwomble · 16/07/2021 17:54

Not Ethan or Ace (they are both "naughty boy" names).

Jesse runs the risk of being called Jessie.

Seth is a bit over-used.

Douglas is the best.

RuthW · 16/07/2021 18:08

Douglas is lovely snd so much nicer than all the others

daisypond · 16/07/2021 18:19

Douglas by far!
Ethan, Jesse and Seth are so dated and tired.
Ace is a bit..odd.
