We already have two sons called Samuel and Edward. Middle name likely to be Alexandra.

So far we have
Emma
Harriet
Sophie
Hannah
Anna
Holly

I know they have all been popular for decades but DH and I have never agreed on 'unique' names so we figure we best stick to more classic type names that do not seem to be as popular as they once were 10-20 years ago (although happy to be corrected).

Harriet is lovely.

Keepitonthedownlow · 19/06/2021 01:15

I feel Harriet and Holly work best alongside the boys' names. Classic is good.

Keepitonthedownlow · 19/06/2021 01:16

Also Shopie

Keepitonthedownlow · 19/06/2021 01:16

Sophie !

chillied · 19/06/2021 01:26

I like Anna.

or Sophie

roobicoobi · 19/06/2021 01:34

Harriet sticks out form the bunch. It's a little different. The rest are all a bit 'ok'

FreddieLounds · 19/06/2021 01:37

The only one I like is Holly. Really dislike Harriet. The others are just ok.

faithfulbird20 · 19/06/2021 02:00

Hannah sounds perfect with the boys and the middle name.

AnyaMoondial · 19/06/2021 06:32

I really like Anna, Sophie and Holly.

Peachbubble · 19/06/2021 07:44

Harriet or Sophie.

pissface · 19/06/2021 07:50

Harriet and Anna are both lovely

Bimblybomeyelash · 19/06/2021 07:57

All perfectly nice names. I like Hannah.

lemonsyellow · 19/06/2021 07:57

Anna

DinosaurDiana · 19/06/2021 07:58

Sophie and Emma.

Clickbait · 19/06/2021 08:00

These are all lovely! My favourites are Sophie, Holly and Anna.

Theoldwoman · 19/06/2021 08:03

I love classical names, and you do too, obviously.

With Samuel and Edward, and with a middle name of Alexandra, I would use:

Harriet.

Otherwise I love Sophie (but not with a sibling Samuel) or Anna (but not with a middle name of Alexandra)

MsTSwift · 19/06/2021 08:05

I like Emma as here it’s quite underused. Can’t stand Sophie really common and sounds like soppy.

PPCD · 19/06/2021 08:07

I think all those names are lovely. Harriet, Holly and Sophie work best with the middle name you've chosen.

Jasmine11 · 19/06/2021 08:10

I'd go for Hannah just because every single Hannah I've known has been a lovely human being :)

ShinyGreenElephant · 19/06/2021 08:12

Sophie is very very common, all of the others are nice. I love Harriet, DH wouldn't let me use it.

Willwebebuyingnumber11 · 19/06/2021 08:12

Harriet is lovely and goes well with your sons names

SquigglePigs · 19/06/2021 08:13

Harriet was on our short list and goes well with your other names. I love Hannah too. To be honest all of the names work pretty well.

HonestlyFuckThis · 19/06/2021 08:15

They’re all really lovely - pretty and classical. My favourite is Harriet (charming, underused) but also love Anna, I’ve always thought it’s a very elegant name.

LowryLake · 19/06/2021 08:48

Sophie is pretty and very classic, though obviously Sophia is quite popular at the moment, if that's something which bothers you. I'm afraid that I find the others all quite dull.

GintyMcGinty · 19/06/2021 08:51

I love Sophie

Also think Emma, Anna and Holly are great.

Nothing wrong with Harriet or Hannah but I prefer the other names.
