Are you on Facebook? There's a prem baby group on there that might give you some encouragement.

lots of years before grandkids for me, mine are 6, 1 and 1!! All of whom are Terrible Sleepers

youcanprance · 18/06/2021 20:28

@SleepingStandingUp I am indeed - I am part of micro prems and general prems groups. Great for scary NICU times but great also for seeing what some children actually end up like after being born so early sometimes Sad

Sorry about the sleep. My son is autistic and gets up for 3am... I'm very thankful he's at nursery!

I was at playgroup with a little 24 weeker last week, she's dinky (my twins are huge though so I'm biased) but she was perfect, just a long NICU journey but i was amazed how well she was. Hospitals are miraculous places but I hope your baby stays in as long as possible.

Vivienne Alice is really nice and that way you’re both happy!

Wishing you well and all the luck in the world. Flowers

Allthingspeaches · 18/06/2021 21:14

Vivienne is lovely

youcanprance · 18/06/2021 22:11

A good point to raise is, I already have a Vincent! Will Vincent and Vivienne be too similar? And get confusing when I call them ?

Yes.

Ninkanink · 18/06/2021 22:31

No it would be just fine. They sound nice together as well.

Polecat03 · 18/06/2021 22:43

Another vote for Vivienne.

hazandduck · 18/06/2021 22:52

I love all the names but especially Selena with your surname. Also really love Vivienne and don’t hear it often. Vincent is a gorgeous name too, I think it goes with Selena or Vivienne.

I’m so sorry for your previous losses. Hoping your little Miss Goodman arrives safe and sound x

MrsMiddleMother · 18/06/2021 22:55

@ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba

Vivienne or Selena

Lydia Chlamydia and "who the fuck is Alice?" are too strong associations for me

Exactly what I was about to say!
Lalliella · 19/06/2021 00:38

Lovely choices OP and so sorry for your previous losses. I think you have to have Vivienne in there for the meaning, but maybe as a middle name if you already have Vincent. Alice Vivienne or Lydia Vivienne I think. Or, I don’t know whether religion means anything to you, but I chose Anya for DD as it means God has favoured me with a child, after 2 (much earlier) losses. Hope all goes well with little Vivienne or X Vivienne Flowers

Alice

daiawndiolch · 19/06/2021 08:03

Lydia is one of my favourite ever names.

Vivienne sounds like a middle-aged (mutton dressed as lamb) showbiz-y type to me. Sorry.

Pinkypink · 20/06/2021 18:54

So sorry for your losses.
I love Alice and Lydia.
But after hearing you reasoning I would go with Vivienne.
