Love Trevor. Graham is also nice.

joystir59 · 03/06/2021 05:11

Trevor is a great name.

pilates · 03/06/2021 05:35

Sounds fabulous

maddiemookins16mum · 03/06/2021 05:50

@Cissyandflora

We have a Trévor and two Trevors in my son’s class. It’s very popular around here. Have you considered Trevorson to give it a modern twist and make him stand out more?
Stand out for all the wrong reasons you mean, a daft name.
maddiemookins16mum · 03/06/2021 05:51

@BluePeterVag

There are five Trevors in DS’s school. One goes by Trevvah. Maybe try that? Other names to try based on popularity in the school, there are 2 Colins, twins called Donald and Ronald, three Graham’s, a Keith, Hugh, Frank,Walter and a Brian. There is only one Balonz.
Trevvah, poor lad. That’s taking yoonique far too far.
stressbandit · 03/06/2021 06:00

Are you having one of them bright idea pregnancy moments op? I had one in my last pregnancy where I loved the name Denzel posted here for opinions. NO was the obvious answer. Still have a soft spot for that name though 😂

Hebditch · 03/06/2021 06:09

Brian.

MitheringSunday · 03/06/2021 06:13

Gavin and Trevor are glorious cat names.

Justjoinedforthis · 03/06/2021 06:30

Keith is a beautiful name, it means ‘of the forest’, if I hadn’t been vetoed my son would be Keith, but the haters won

DeciduousPerennial · 03/06/2021 06:36

I think Kevin would go very nicely with Gavin, would sit better than Trevor as a pair. There’s something awkward about Trevor after Gavin that you don’t quite get with Kevin.

Something to consider.

Billandben444 · 03/06/2021 06:37

I'm sorry but Trevor is a no from me. It was quite popular 60 years ago but not for any of the cool boys and reminds me of anoraks and train spotting. Some of the posts on here are having a laugh so please don't take their suggestions as sensible.

Frazzledd · 03/06/2021 06:38

@RogueMNerHidesUnderBigHat

Why do you hate your children?
🤣🤣🤣
LordOfTheOnionRings · 03/06/2021 06:39

I like Trevor personally! Go for it OP

littleburn · 03/06/2021 06:40

I'm so into Nigel for a baby right now, but Darren is very tempting too.

CustardyCreams · 03/06/2021 06:40

My first thought was, incredibly cute. Like Arthur, also cute.

Blueskytoday06 · 03/06/2021 06:46

What about a double barrelled name Trevor-Darren, Trevor-Barry, Trevor-Garry. Or like a a popular girls name (Neveah / Heaven) could you reverse it to - Rovert? Rov or Rert for short ?

20viona · 03/06/2021 06:56

Christ no

daisypond · 03/06/2021 07:10

One of my DDs had a Trevor in their class. I thought it was unusual then. Maybe it’s on the return. They’re all in their early 20s now. There was also a Keith and Brian.

midsomermurderess · 03/06/2021 07:14

It's not a jingle, it an Ian Dury sing, Knock Me Down With a Feather.

BlueDucky · 03/06/2021 08:21

Kevin would go nicely

What kinda 1970’s school does your child go to? 😂😂
CaffiSaliMali · 03/06/2021 08:38

As Gavin is a Welsh name it might be nice to use the Welsh spelling of Trefor? Same pronunciation - in Welsh the letter F is pronounced V.

A Trefor will stand out nicely amongst all the other Trevors.

SoapboxFox · 03/06/2021 10:13

Hyphenated would be better. And mix the letters up. Rev-Rot or Vort-Er.

CastAColdEye · 03/06/2021 10:18

Makes me think of the Ian Dury song, Clever Trevor. although I think Drury had it as Clevor Trever.

Go for it I say!

CastAColdEye · 03/06/2021 10:20

Dury. Not Drury as in the Lane.

Hmm
