Nicknames for Tabitha

We have decided to call our little girl Tabitha and I’m hoping to find a slightly unique nickname (not so keen on tabby.)

Any suggestions? I know lots of people will say that nicknames just come in time but would like to have something up my sleeve that we already like.

Her full name will be : Tabitha Illaria Diana

The Tabitha I know gets called Bibi or Biba.

I used to know a Tabitha and her nickname was Moggy. I'm not sure that's any better than Tabby though.

With those initials, and the “tabby” theme, my mind goes inevitably to Tiddles. Sorry.

Agree with this. We have a Bryony and I reaaaaally didn’t want ‘Bry’ so we started with Bee and everyone else has picked it up.

The ones I know are Tabs and Bibi

I know of a Tabitha and she is known as Tabs!

With her initials, Tiddy, Tids or Tiddles.
From Tabitha, could you cope with Tab? Or Bith or Bitha, I suppose.
An older sibling may well nickname her for you without your consent however!, especially if they can't pronounce Tabitha.

I know a Tabitha who is Bitsy, cute when she was s toddler no doubt, but she's now a 35 year old engineer

Tabi or Tabs are the shorthand versions for us.

I absolutely love Tabitha! I wouldnt shorten it! It was on my list but went with Delilah, she was Dee Dee until about age 3 and now she wants to be called Delilah! Her teacher has called her Del a few times which she hates (and so do i)

I have a Tabitha and she is called by various friends and family Kitty, Tibby or Bea, all nicknames emerged naturally though we didn't force them.

The two I know are Tabi and Biff.
