...which family members did you name them after?

I don't have any children but if I do have kids, a boy would get my maternal grandad and maternal great-grandads names as middle names (or twin boys would get one each). A girl will definitely get my maternal grandmas name and possibly my mums name (my mum hates her name but there are no alternatives to it) these would be all be middle names.

Our dads, conveniently both called the same thing, and a paternal grandmother.

I wanted Mary after my late nan. But hubby's family already had two living relatives called Mary and we thought it would just be very confusing....

Both my girls are named after women in my family. May and Lottie.

My great grandmother was Lottie, not Charlotte so I've continued the tradition.

I have another daughter due in May who I really want to name Maggie after my grandmother who I never got to meet, sadly my partner is really against it.
