Asking for my sister, she is thinking of using Cece as a full name? What are your thoughts?

I personally love it!

Quite frankly if I was confronted by the name, say as a receptionist etc I would not know how to pronounce it. Cecelia just does not conform to the usual English rules of pronunciation

I think it has become popular because of the pretty waitress on First Dates , but I would go for Cecelia on bc & call her Ceecee.

@EugenesAxe

I think it's fine; I really like it and would know to pronounce it the way you said.

I saw a lush name the other day; Thomasin. If I wasn't past having babies it would definitely be on my girls list.

My little girl was Thomasin for a few hours after birth but unfortunately it sounded a bit clunky with our surname so we switched to Tamsin instead which is a varient of it, I love both names! Outing but her Dad is Thomas so it really fits.
