Names with cute nicknames

Really want a name that can have cute nicknames for a boy. So far we quite like Edison with the nickname Eddie or Bear. We also like Newton with the nickname Newt. Can anyone suggest any other names. Thanks in advance.

I love Jed/Ged for Gerard and the two I know are both super cute!

Oh and I can't believe I forgot Robin for Robert - feels cute AND old-fashioned imo.

Possibly a bit too 'old man' for you but one of our potential names for DS was Bernard. With Bernie or Bear as nicknames because Bernard means 'brave bear' which I thought was super cute.
