Euan.. what do English Mumsnetters think?

I like Euan but I was brought up in Scotland where it was a common and nice name. Since moving to England I have discovered that some Scottish names I like (such as Callum) are not well liked here (someone told me it was a ‘chav’ name 🙄).

So if you are from England, is Euan a name you are familiar with? Do you like it? Does it have any particular associations for you? Would you prefer the spelling Ewan?
