I dislike the name Jamie but I didnt get on with a Jamie in school.

Emily, all the ones I've known including a former close friend were two faced. Sorry to the rest of you!

I’m a teacher so loads of names were ruled out because they were on the ‘naughty association list’.

And I clearly need to change my own name judging by this thread!

Spencer - nasty little boy at my primary school.

Sacha - bully at secondary school.

Fiona - she was a snake of a person

Emma, Laura, Jodie - never met a nice one! All have been horrible and I've known multiples of each.
Tracey - horrible ex boss
Chloe - school bully

Terri - but to be honest wouldn’t have used the name anyway!
Gabbi/ Gabrielle and Natasha. I don’t necessarily have awful memories of them but dislike them enough that I wouldn’t want to associate my child’s name with them.

Tatiana. What a beautiful name, right? Total psycho who made my and DS1's life utter hell.

Leilia. See 'Tatiana' above. Narc psycho with all the trimmings.

Terry/Terri- sociopath for a boss. She was the devil's work. Unfortunately, 'Leilia' was my childminder while I worked for 'Terri'. That was a hellish time. Even DS has suppressed those memories. Two horrible, horrible, horrible, abusive people in one fell swoop. Thankfully, briefly.

Tammy/Tamie- my brother's crazy-making ex-wife.

Jeff/Geoff- Pervs and abusers, the ones I've met.

Lee- I mean, have you EVER met a nice one? They're all angry.

Dean- See 'Lee' above.

Tanya- It's just a 'fist coming for your face' kind of a name. And the one Tanya I knew was brass knuckles on legs.

Steve- Dark horses.

I am a teacher. My list is looooong hahaha.

Rachel. All stuck up. One once said to me her name was spelt ‘The posh way.’ Seriously, when has Rachel/Rachael ever been posh?

Great thread, agree with lots, disagree with a few - my name's been mentioned twice as being a bully (I'm not!)

I'm a teacher so also have a very long list but IRL they are just generalisations, names don't influence your personality.

With regards to exes though - Lee, yes always angry, 'little man/10 men' syndrome, pathological liar and cheat.

Funnily enough, nearly all the Rebeccas I have met have been nice.

Gemma/Jemma there was 6 in my year at school and every one of them was horrible.

Phillippa as I went to school with two not such nice ones. I have since met a nice one and didn't judge her on the fact that the other phillippas I knew weren't nice, I like the most recent one a lot but would never use it as a baby name!
