Quirky middle names

Along the lines of Rae... Bluebell...?

Usain Bolt gave his daughter the middle name Lightning which is brilliant. I like (but didnt use) nature names like Rainbow, Willow, Raven, River, Fox etc for middle names.

My daughters middle name is Primrose. I decided to add it as we were in the registry office. It makes me smile.

Hm something to go with either Sophie or Olivia...
Initially thinking Rae
Sophie Rae
Olivia Rae...
But wondering if there's something else that would be just as lovely.

Quirky is fine. Rae and Bluebell are far from quirky. If you want to go down the quirky route, then perhaps something that's less of a generic 'middle name'? Rae particularly suffers from this - it's becoming the new Mae.

One of my DC has a very unusual middle name (too obviously outing to say what it is), which I gave this particular DC for a particular reason.

Rae is the new Rose where I live. Not quirky at all

Generally anything people choose to try and be 'quirky' guaranteed to be cringey.

Maybe something that’s personal to you. If you like Rae, how about Rain? I’ve always like the word “Indigo”, from the rainbow song. Wouldn’t use it for a first name but I think it would make a cool middle name.

Olivia and Sophie are nice traditional names. How about throwing something foreign and exotic in as a middle name. I really like Valentina at the moment.

Sophie is a beautiful name. Olivia is a vile name.

There are nice quirky middle names but TBH, they can be almost any word. Examples of middle names I considered are:

Honey
Kitty
Lucille

A mixed bunch. But really, anything can be a middle name. It’s nice to choose one that means something to you.

Be brave! Give them a quirky first name and "normal" middle name so if they hate the quirky name they can go by middle name instead.

My girls middle name is Anouk, which I suppose is quite quirky, as I've never met or heard of one! So far, I can think of one person who said "wow I love it", and that was a client of mine. Don't think anybody else likes it at all. Hey ho!

Also, my girls first name is Olive :)

Rae is the least quirky middle name in the world.
