Names:
Penelope
Felicity
Imogen
Fleur
Georgina
Erin
Aila

I'm Scottish and may like a Scottish name if anyone has any ideas? Besides Aila, I haven't found many I like!
Otherwise based on this list, what other names might I like?

I like Felicity a lot though, if you're ok calling her Flic, which I also love.

MikeUniformMike · 21/07/2020 10:39

@theotherfossilsister, it's very common in Wales.

@ALC1985 I do like those names, but not sure if they would be pronounced incorrectly.

Names:
Penelope- pit stop. Dreadful name.
Felicity- bit posh but quite like it. Like flick as a nn
Imogen- reminds me of the word Imagine. No.
Fleur- bleugh
Georgina- Nice name
Erin- ok
Aila- pronounced ? Isla?

What about Ailsa?

VenusClapTrap · 28/07/2020 19:35

I love Fleur. Dd was nearly a Fleur. How about Lorna?

emilybrontescorsett · 28/07/2020 21:22

Penelope - very posh. Always reminds me of Penelope Keith. The Penelopes I know all get called Penny.
Felicity - love this name. Classic and reminds me of a good looking, successful woman.
Imogen - pleasant, attractive woman.
Fleur - a bit arty farty, probably lives in the country and paints for a living.
Georgina- no nonsense, down to earth, sporty.
Erin - quite ordinary.
Aila - meh.

JellyMouldJnr · 28/07/2020 21:32

Ailsa? Catriona?

I really like Penelope and Felicity. Imogen and Erin are nice but seem quite popular at present. Not keen on Georgina personally (I don't really like feminised versions of male names like this) or Fleur.

Penelope - old fashioned

Felicity - a bit boring and will get shortened to Flick 😖

Imogen - ok

Fleur - more of a sound of someone being sick than a name ImHO

Georgina - too masculine

Erin - ok

Aila - too much like an illness ‘ail , ailing’
