I LOVE Annie but can't use it

Hi ladies,

I really really love the name Annie but for various reasons can't use it 😭

Apart from Annabel are there any other names I could use officially but have Annie day to day?

Or what other names may I like just as much?

Why can't you use it? You probably can.

If you're going to call her something that's shortened to Annie every day anyway then you WILL be calling her Annie so I'd just use it, it won't make any difference.

Elana, Georgiana, Liliana, Janet/Janine, Mariana, Oriana, Tatiana? But be prepared for others to be tempted to use the more intuitive short forms.

If you'd like to avoid the "ann" sound altogether, maybe
Amy, Bonnie, Daphne, Jennie, Minnie, Naomi, Sadie, Sydney?

I would go for Annis, which is Scottish, or Angharad, which is Welsh.
