What’s your favourite baby girls name?

Hiya! I know name threads are frowned upon but I had a baby girl over 24 hours ago and we still have no name.

We had hoped that with our short list when she arrived we would just know what’s right but instead we don’t like anything we have chosen.

I don’t like flowery to girly names, I like names that our child won’t be ashamed to write on her cv at 21 so no ‘angel’ sorry to those who have that.

I really like Brinley but my partner isn’t a fan and he likes everlyn which I don’t like as I feel it’s an old ladies name 😂

I'm sorry I think she would be ashamed to put Brinley and Everlyn on her CV aged 21 as those are quite bizarre choices, particularly the misspelling of Evelyn. Congratulations on your new daughter :)

Esyllt is my favourite girls name, but sadly it isn't really usable in England as the letter Ll won't be pronounced correctly.

My girls list therefore consists of Mari, Morwenna, Alys, Tesni and Eira.

My non Welsh girls list consists of Rosa, Lyra, Juliet, Evangeline and Natasha.

I'm assuming Everlyn is meant to be Evelyn?

How about Briony or Romilly?

If you don't like flowery names how about something like Anna, Lara, Leah, Mara, Ruth, Nina or Emma?
