Help, I can't find a single girls name I like

I'm 30 weeks with first, don't know what we are having but I've been convinced it's a boy. Because if that I've put little effort into thinking about girls names until now. And I can't find any I like, or any we both like.

I'd love some suggestions - I'll post my criteria

I would like something a bit rarer but not made up. I have ruled out pretty much every name in top 100. Don't like names that are too "girly".

I loved Ivy but it's become very popular.

I like Isabelle as I had a lovely book about an Isabelle when I was little but we've an Annabelle in the family.

We like Aurelia but my OH worries it's too unusual in the uk (we have a German friend of that name)

I like Raven but OH vetoed as too out there/ 'hippy'

I quite like names to have a unisex nick name but not a must.

Can I please have some suggestions? Anything, hit me with them! TIA

Averil - super unusual. Old English. Google it, lots of amazing women have this name mainly scientists. Good luck.

I know more than one Averil/Avril. Don't like it.Makes me think of Bovril.

Sutton...as in Coldfield?! Genuinely the first time I've been shocked by a name suggestion on mumsnet, which is really quite something I guess Grin

Squintybumcheek · 01/05/2020 21:58

Suren? Its scandi and unisex nickname could be reni.

If you like Icelandic names you could look up some names from the sagas. My dd has an old Icelandic name.

Other unusual names I like are

Astrea
Eija
Eska
Torva

NameChange84 · 01/05/2020 21:59

@KindnessCrusader given that there are a few musical theatre names in that list I’m guessing it’s after the actress Sutton Foster.

rossKemp · 01/05/2020 22:01

Do you like Piper?

Hanab · 01/05/2020 22:03

Why do you need to give a girls name? Maybe go down the route of blake lively ( her name or her daughter .. James)

Wheresmycider · 01/05/2020 22:06

Dont worry too much, we were in a similar position and did end up with a boy, so the sweat over girls names had been unnecessary.
We had got to the point where we had stopped suggesting names to one another and were just hoping that a name would suggest itself on meeting our newborn.
