Pretty much settled on either Carrie or Felicity. Thoughts on either would be appreciated. I sway between both. Middle name to be Frances.

My only thought with Carrie, is that it feels more of a nickname?

Thank you in advance lovely community!

Felicity. Carrie definitely sounds short for something.

emilybrontescorsett · 19/04/2020 17:44

I really like both.

Carrie. There’s a lot of Felicity’s around

I don't know many people named Felicity. I can think of one in her 20s, two in their 40s and one who is 70 something. According to the ONS it only entered the top 100 names in 2018 and even areas where it's most used, it represents no more than 1.1% of births.

Love Carrie.
Not keen on Felicity.

Felicity is my sisters name and we call her Fliss or Flissy. Her friends call her Flick.

Carrie sounds better with the middle name but I love both equally

Caroline nn Carrie would be great.

Carrie. I'd use it as a nn for Caroline, which I think is lovely, or Carina.
I don't like Felicity.

Spanglishness · 20/04/2020 18:32

Carrie is definitely not a nickname-y name but I really don’t like it because I think of the film/book
I love felicity
