Lupins are pretty and I like the sound of the name. It's unusual to choose a flower name for a boy though so I'd probably assume it was a girl. Not sure if that would both you?

In the still hilarious, after 130 years, book Diary of a Nobody , Lupin is the name of the ne’er do well/ twerpish son of the main character.

To be fair, having googled, it's a boys' name after all, sorry! I guess meaning wolf-like rather than after the flower.

Unfortunately I think he may be bullied because of a name like that.
