Does it sound too "cutesy" or fine?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
emstone · 06/12/2019 16:30

I like it! Really like both names!

Postmissposte · 06/12/2019 16:40

It's a bit twee for my taste, but I can see the appeal.

I like Grace in the first name slot but most little girls I know seem to have Grace, Rose or May as a middle name.

Grace Daisy would be better, IMO, but then it's not my baby 😉

Leopardprintboots · 06/12/2019 16:43

Love the name Daisy. Wish it was my name!

Frlrlrubert · 06/12/2019 16:53

It's not my taste, but it's not awful, just feels a bit 'meh'.

movingonup123 · 06/12/2019 16:59

I agree I prefer Grace Daisy. There are millions of Daisy's around at the moment. There are eight Daisy's at my daughter's school.

2pintsofmilkplease · 06/12/2019 17:36

Really twee!

DramaAlpaca · 06/12/2019 17:37

Too twee for me.

CodenameVillanelle · 06/12/2019 20:06

Both names are very dated and put together is a bit twee. Daisy plus something a bit stronger than Grace would be better. Avoid Grace as middle name.

daisypond · 06/12/2019 20:46

I like Grace a lot but only as a first name. I’m not so keen on Daisy.

Sherrybabyy · 06/12/2019 20:52

I’m not overly keen but it’s not bad!

misspiggy19 · 06/12/2019 20:53

Don’t like either name.

MeMeMeYou · 06/12/2019 21:00

I love it! I thought of Daisy as it was my Nana's name but DH was put off as our surname is a D. But I still used Grace as a middle name. I'm a teacher as well has having 2 children and have only come across a couple of Daisys in 16 years

FlossieTeacakesFurCoat18 · 06/12/2019 21:05

I think it's gorgeous!

Astronica · 06/12/2019 23:00

It's fine.

NoSauce · 06/12/2019 23:17

No not together.

kitk · 06/12/2019 23:21

Daisy is lovely for a baby/ little girl but can you imagine prime minister Daisy/ QC Daisy etc... I think you owe it ti your child to give a name that suits aged 1,11,21,41 etc...

Grace is a beautiful choice

ContessaLovesTheSunshine · 06/12/2019 23:24

It sounds like an Amazon Original/Netflix romcom title to me, and not one I'd watch.

Sorry Blush

RaguForYou · 06/12/2019 23:31

Depends what she wants to do with her life.

If she wants to be a model or an actress or work in PR, Daisy is fine.

If she wants to be a consultant oncologist, a barrister or a politician, Daisy is a bit of a handicap.

It's sort of on the upper part of the Fifi Trixibell fluffy girly spectrum.

Bananablueberry · 06/12/2019 23:37

The name Daisy will not hold her back from any sort of career, it's a perfectly normal and acceptable name. I think Daisy Grace is lovely OP and they won't be used together in everyday circumstances anyway

NextdoorNeighbourIsATwat · 06/12/2019 23:37

Sounds like 'disgrace'

Leopardprintboots · 06/12/2019 23:55

Hahaha I work in the legal profession and no way would being called Daisy be a barrier to that! You should hear the names of my colleagues 🤣🤣
Daisy is a top 50 name for goodness sakes.
Deary me some people here seen to live on a different planet

Leopardprintboots · 06/12/2019 23:56

Do people on MN seriously think that in 2019 every woman that works in law is called Emma or Mary or something?

mathanxiety · 07/12/2019 06:52

Lovely name.

TorchesTorches · 07/12/2019 07:00

The sound pattens are a bit line 'amazing Grace' the hymn. I dont think it works

Batmanandrobin123 · 07/12/2019 08:11
