I love the name but i am worried it will not be very well socially received. Have you ever met one?

I'm singing Red Hot Chili Peppers now (not a bad thing).

I like it.
I know only one child called this, a boy maybe in his early teens.

My grandad's car was a Zephyr, around 1959.

Why not?

I love it!! A welcome change from Leo/Alfie/Jack/Harry etc.

I know an adult male Zeph, but in his case it’s a shortening of Joseph, if you wanted something more mainstream as an alternative

I know this is an old thread but this reply made me “roll my eyes”.

Not everyone gives their kid an unusual name to appear cool and edgy, some just like more unusual sounding names.
You sound very judgemental.
You can’t just assume you’ve got the parents worked out based on their child’s name.
I’ve got a mix of unusual and very traditional names with my kids, I’m not cool, or different, or edgy in any way.
I just picked the names I liked.

Jeez, some people really think they are better than everyone else.

It just makes me want to roll my eyes tbh. The kind of name that's given for the benefit of the "cool", "different" parents and not the child who has to live with it. I'm not saying we all have to stick to the top 20 but there's a middle ground.

For reference, this is the comment I was responding to.
