I need an unusual, quirky, pretty, girl’s name, and quick.

Baby girl due very soon. I already have 2 sons and choosing a girl’s name is so much harder!

I like more modern names mostly (with the exception of names like Hazel and Cassia) not a huge fan of say Eleanor for example.
Something that’s unusual, a bit quirky and has personality but is also pretty. I mean don’t we all want that? (For ex one of my friends has a Nova which I’ve always quite liked but not a fan of other astrological names) Don’t want anything too ridiculous though. I imagine myself saying to a teacher ‘hi my name is X’ and think whether I’d like saying that or not!

Please help! I’ll take any suggestions. Nothing is stupid, just help a struggling, overly fussy with names, mum. There are plenty of names I like but none that I just think yes, that’s my baby’s name.

Winner gets a mars bar. Unless you’re vegan. Okay I’ll stop talking now - I clearly need to go to bed.

At the moment ~
Willow (possibly Billie as a pet name? Don’t rlly think that works)
Everly - love this suggestion
Harper - love but idk about the Beckhams association
Wren - love but more inclined to use as middle name

I keep following in and out of love with Adeline / Adelaide but think although beautiful they’re a a bit fussy for me.

Pls give opinions on these names, more suggestions welcome.

We loved the name Wren, my partner wouldn't let me have Adeline, and if we have another girl I'd love Everly...

We ended up calling our daughter Lyra : )

Other contenders were Seren, Elise and Aoife. I also really loved Ottilie, or Ottie for short

Aiste (Polish name pron. Eye-sta) I love it but do vetoed!

Marlena1 · 09/09/2019 20:03

Agree re Harper. Goegous but V&DBeckham's. What about Harlow? It's Nicole Richie's but less strong association IMO

If you like Billie what about Bailey? Can be spelt Baillie?

Or Suki would go nicely with your boys names...losing track of what's been suggested already

My LG is called Lydia. Seen some of the names you like and seemed similar to ones I liked at the time. When I heard Lydia I just loved it and thought it was such a pretty name that you don't hear to much of anymore, so thought I'd make the suggestion Smile

Willow - ok but quite popular right now. Also not sure how it could be said to shorten to Billie.
Everly - reminds me of Beverly and that’s not a good thing.
Harper - will always be associated with Beckham.
Wren - nice.

What about Scout, Piper or Lola?

I've fallen in love with the name Albertine.

Also have a soft spot for Indiana too.
