Castiel Quinn
Malakai Torin

Nn Cass and Kai

We've come a long way from Balthazar and Theseus and they're never going to Jack and Henry level of normal.

Thoughts?

I LOVE Castiel and Quinn

Quinn and Torin are great!

IggyAce · 02/09/2019 19:21

I like them but please use the correct spelling for Malachi. I wouldn’t pick/force a nn they tend to evolve once they start school.
I quite like Alaric and Castiel.

Derbee · 02/09/2019 19:22

Honestly, horrendously chavvy IMO. Sorry

Littledryad · 02/09/2019 19:33

I have a Malakai and so I love the name!! Cass is unusual and I like it. But then I also love Quinn as a first name

Hellokitty135 · 02/09/2019 20:04

Another vote for Quinn and Torin.

Loula3kidz · 02/09/2019 20:15

Stop asking people who dont matter. Name your kids as you wish. Everyone is gonna have an opinion and some people are just going to be rude. Dont let people discourage/change your mind/ ruin something you really like and have agreed on with your partner/family. We may never even sniff the same air as your lovely children so dont let us dictate their lives in any way xx

firawla · 02/09/2019 20:19

I like them! Seems like you are getting really harsh feedback from a lot of people on the names but I think they’re cute, and unique but without being overly complicated

Frith2013 · 02/09/2019 20:19

I like the long versions.

Cass and Kai make me think of cash and carry!

Sparkandgold · 02/09/2019 20:20

Totally agree with Loula3kidz
It is your decision and nobody elses.

To the person using the term 'chavy' I find the term really unpleasant and derogatory. We educate the kids at school not to use this term and explain why.
So I'd expect better from grown adults.

HeadLikeAFkingOrange · 02/09/2019 20:25

Please go for more traditional names, like
Daniel and Balonz.

Or Ezekiel and Hitler.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 02/09/2019 20:25

Are you a supernatural fan?!!!

kenandbarbie · 02/09/2019 21:07

I wonder why you're asking on here as they are the type of names that are almost universally disliked on mumsnet.

I like Malachi with the usual spelling and any of your other Cas full names. Castiel- is that already a name used by other people? I've never heard it.

SleepingStandingUp · 02/09/2019 21:09

@HeadLikeAFkingOrange I adore Ezekiel, DH vetoed it heavily.

@MrsElijahMikaelson1 yes but not enough to name a baby after lol, otherwise he'd be Sam haha xx

I think I prefer my level of normal . My twin boys are Jack and Henry

Sophronia · 02/09/2019 23:09

Reminds me of Wayne Rooney’s kids.

Nicetablecloth · 02/09/2019 23:13

I'm wondering where on earth names like this would be acceptable at all tbh except in a Harry Potter novel ... They're ludicrous

thebakerwithboobs · 02/09/2019 23:15

Agree with previous about spelling Malachi correctly (for me this is up there with spelling Esme Ezmay) Quinn is ok but there is always the danger of him being called Quim 😬 Balthazar is a superb name!!

SleepingStandingUp · 02/09/2019 23:22

My twin boys are Jack and Henry which are lovely names tbf, just not my choice

Chickenwing · 02/09/2019 23:41

I agree they are chavvy and trying too hard to be unique.

Astronica · 03/09/2019 05:19

I really like Castiel Quinn and nn Cas. I'm not keen on Malakai at all, though I do like Torin a lot. Castiel and Torin (Cas and Tor) would work for me!

Urskeks · 03/09/2019 05:55

Kai means food in Maori

It's also short for my eldest's name, and all she does is eat or talk about food Grin

I like Castiel Quinn and Torin Malakai/ Malachi

Cass and Tor

I read your other thread, this is pretty much going along the same lines as that one did, so I'd just draw a line now and call them whatever you want, you'll never please everyone and that's not the point of naming your kids anyway Smile

pepperpot99 · 03/09/2019 06:23

Awful. They are so chavvy they make Wayne Rooney and Katie Price's kids' names sound classy.

Soz, but you did ask.
