X2 Aria's at DC infant school. I know x1 Thea. X6 Mia's at the same infant school.

User24689 · 09/08/2019 19:12

No Arias or Thea's
4 mias I actually know. in addition there is usually a Mia in every group activity I take my kids too!

Hmmmbop · 09/08/2019 19:20

Aria - 1 (but a handful of Arya's, which depending on your accent can sound the same)
Mia - several.
Thea - 3. I love Thea I would have called DD Thea but a good friend has a girl the same age as DS called it.

AuntieStella · 09/08/2019 19:23

No Aria
One Thea (teen)
Several Mia from teen to two

soundsystem · 09/08/2019 19:24

I don't know any Aria's. I know one Thea and two Mia's under 5.

OrchidFlakes · 09/08/2019 19:31

No Aria’s, it’s a beautiful name though. One Thea (age 5) and lots of Mia/Mya/Maya’s and other May/Mae variants!

irisheyesaresmiling7 · 09/08/2019 19:53

No Arias
Two Theas - both late teens
One Mia - 8/9 year old.

I love Mia and picked it for a girl but we had all boys.

HauntedPencil · 09/08/2019 20:32

Of the three I think Mia imore prominent

A few of each. They are all lovely relatively uncommon names though I wouldn't be concerned.

womaninthedark · 09/08/2019 20:34

None. Knew a cat called Mia.

Thegirlhasnoname · 09/08/2019 20:36

There were 2 Thea’s in the postnatal ward with me when I had DD (last Oct)
I haven’t met one but the registrar when sorting the birth certificate out said that she had registered over 10 baby girls called Aria that month and was the most popular name at the time in the area
Dozens of Mia’s

SpeckledyHen · 09/08/2019 20:42

One newborn Aria and several Mia under 6 .

OverthinkingThis · 09/08/2019 20:53

I know two little girls called Thea, both aged 1

fedup21 · 09/08/2019 20:56

I’ve taught loads of girls called Mia-ranging from 4-19 now.

I can’t think of many called Thea.

Aria/Arya will be massively popular now because of GoT.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 09/08/2019 21:32

No Arias
A lot of Mias - age range 90 down to babies
A great niece called Thea (a year old) has made me notice how popular it's become.

C0untDucku1a · 09/08/2019 21:34

I know three theas personally.
I know half a million mias.

MaudAndOtherPoems · 09/08/2019 21:41

I know one Thea and about a dozen Mias (including all spelling variations) from my days as a Brown Owl. Don’t know any Aryas.

Zoflorabore · 09/08/2019 21:44

I know one Thea who is 18/19 and lots of Mia's. One of dd's bat friends is a Mia and she is 8. Lots in her primary school and in ds's year when he was in primary, he's 16.

Don't know anyone called Aria.

Zoflorabore · 09/08/2019 21:45

MN needs an edit button, best friend not bat friend Blush

MsSquiz · 09/08/2019 21:52

Thea - 1 (in her 50s)
Mia - 1 (aged 7)
Aria - 0 (wanted to call DD Aria but DH wasn't keen

Benjispruce · 09/08/2019 21:52

I work in primary education. School of 90, 3 Mias.
None of the others.
DD knows two girls named Mia at a different school.

GiggleMcDimples · 09/08/2019 21:57

There's an Aria and a Thea that live on my street (don't know any others), and I know of loads of Mia's in DS's school.

GiggleMcDimples · 09/08/2019 21:59

@Zoflorabore the Thea I know is 18/19 too.

BikeRunSki · 09/08/2019 21:59

1 Thea
1 Mia

There are both 9.

Zoflorabore · 09/08/2019 22:00

GiggleMcDimples · 09/08/2019 22:13
