Need a name with a star theme

Right we have a beautiful baby girl who is 2 weeks old, we are registering her birth next week so we need to find a middle name that we both agree on and like..
however there is lovely back story that me and dh both saw a shooting star before we found out we were expecting, so we would love for her middle name to be star themed, something like a star name or a type of star etc, we have seen a lot but nothing is quite right.. any ideas? Thanks!

Betelgeuse? (NN beety or juicy)

ifeellikeanidiot · 18/07/2019 19:11

Esther. Or even better, Hester.

Cbeebiesrehab · 18/07/2019 19:37

My angel baby is Vesper meaning ‘evening star’ unisex as we didn’t know the sex of our star. Hesper is a nice female alternative. As is Hester which also means star.

StillWould · 19/07/2019 09:48

Why don’t you call her Lady GaGa or Bradley Cooper after A Star is Born Grin

Proseccoinamug · 19/07/2019 13:20

Seren is pronounced with an e sound for the second e (exactly the same as the first e, as in elephant), not an ‘uh’ sound.

Estelle
Stella
Andromeda (ana)
Aurora

Eleanor / Ellen / Helen / Nell and all derivatives and variations thereof, mean ‘light’.

UrsulaPandress · 19/07/2019 13:35

Came on to say Bette short for Betelgeuse - the brightest star in the Orion constellation'

Andromeda
Cassiopeia

MikeUniformMike · 19/07/2019 14:20

Prosecco, it is in Welsh, but it won't be elsewhere.
The name seems to be very popular on here, and I'm sure that most of them will say it as Serrun. Their name their choice.

Dizzywizz · 19/07/2019 18:11

I’m in the SE, and people here mostly say it Seren not Serun

TatianaLarina · 19/07/2019 18:15

Astraea meaning ‘star maiden’ (Ancient Greek).

MikeUniformMike · 19/07/2019 18:19

Does it rhyme with Karen?

MikeUniformMike · 19/07/2019 18:40

Dizzy - Helen used as a welsh girl's name doesn't sound the same as English Helen. One is HEL-enn (both E and e have the same sound only the first one is stressed), the other is HEL-un, or sometimes HEL-in.

elizabethdraper · 19/07/2019 18:44

Rèalta - Irish for star

Rail ta

Falafel19 · 19/07/2019 18:45

Realta is star in Irish, pronounced like Rayul-ta. Reiltin (can't do fadas on my phone there's one on the e and second i) means little star, pronounced Rayulteen where I'm from (Rayulcheen further north).

Falafel19 · 19/07/2019 18:45

Cross post @elizabethdraper!
