Looking for 'sunshine' names

DH is turning into an early contender for PFB Dad of the Year and is searching for 'sunshine names'.

My name is the C name which means light, so that's out.

I suggest Luna which is apparently a 'night name'.

Boy or girl names welcome.

I have a secret love for Sorcha but the only ones I ever knew were proper gaeilgeoiri. It also sounds a bit witchy.

Aurora... means dawn so a strong sun connection! Always liked since watching Sleeping Beauty as a child Smile

Something sunny in temperament? How about Joy.

elp30 · 03/07/2019 23:28

I always liked "Luciana" for a girl but with the Mexican pronunciation which is "loo-see-ah-na" and not the Italian or Castilian Spanish way.

My father was called, "Luz", which is Spanish for "light" but he called himself, "Luciano".

There's always "Lucas" or "Luca" for a boy.

Haf, summer in Welsh.
Summer, I know a teen called this and she's lovely.
Flower names always seem summery to me.

Lucia/Lucius(light)
Rowan (unisex)
