What does the name Candice suggest about a child's background/parents?

I think of Sarah-Louise Platt's teenage best friend in Coronation Street.

I like it, but it's going to get shortened to 'Candy'.

I find it strange people on here bring up obscure porn stars that not many people have heard of as a reason not to use a name

And then go and name their kids “lily” or “Bonnie” 😂

I went to school with a very polite MC girl called Candice, pronounced Candiss. She told me in 6th form it was actually Candeece, but everyone had always called her Candiss so it just stuck. I don't mind Candiss, but not a fan of Candeece.
