Interested on everyones thoughts, has anyone ever met a Fenton?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Forgot about Fenton the dog Grin

BBInGinDrinking · 09/06/2019 10:33

If you like the name OP, go for it. Anyway, it could be a stress-busting source of amusement to you to 'own' the video pps mention when your baby won't sleep, has done a particularly gruesome nappy, splats you with pasta sauce or is toddling at high speed towards your sofa and walls with loaded finger-painting hands. Fenton! FENTON!! FEN-TON!!!

TatianaLarina · 09/06/2019 12:15

Will never forget Fenton. Funnily thought the man was my neighbour.

GetOffTheTableMabel · 09/06/2019 12:19

Fenton is the bit of Stoke-on-Trent which I always used to get lost in before Sat Nav.
I wouldn’t name a kid after it. It’s no Brooklyn.

Hairydilemma · 09/06/2019 12:19

MikeUniformMike Grin

Maybe Longton or Middleport?

Dljlr · 09/06/2019 12:21

Like others it makes me think of a Fenton's procedure (having episiotomy repaired). Having had 2 the name makes me queasy.

Would have to hope yours wasn't a bolder... otherwise deja vu with the dog - my lab has much better recall than my toddler/preschooler...

I taught a fintan he was a lovely cheeky boy

TatianaLarina · 09/06/2019 13:10

Fintan is great.

Touchmybum · 09/06/2019 20:27

Patsy Palmer (East Enders) has a son called Fenton.

EmperorBallpitine · 09/06/2019 20:29

Sorry but I would think of that Fenton! clip

Quintella · 09/06/2019 20:32

I wonder if Fenton is still chasing after the deer and Fenton's owner is still wheezing after him, his 'Jesus Christ. Fenntooooon!' now a mere hoarse whisper.

Stravapalava · 09/06/2019 20:33

Reminds me a bit of Renton - Trainspotting or Trenton in New Jersey. It's not a "nice" sound to me.

Betty777 · 09/06/2019 20:34

Deer video here too. Plus it does sound like a surname. Sorry OP (and I'm a fan of weird names)

My younger brother had a little friend called Fenton back in the early 90's, he had well known and wealthy parents and lived in a beautiful house. I think its a nice name but yeah the dog has kind of ruined it for people now I think!
