My first thought was Metropolitan Line.

What's your name choice got to do with your work colleague? It's a horrible name btw.

Dhalandchips · 07/06/2019 03:57

Mornington Crescent 😀

Goodebe · 07/06/2019 03:57

Also Harlow, Harlem, Harbor

floraloctopus · 07/06/2019 04:14

Harrow is a size if cricket bat so no.

mathanxiety · 07/06/2019 04:17

Grin If DD1 had had her way, DS would have been named Harlem.

I think of the west london borough and coming off the a40 at the polish war memorial.

Coming from Lancashire, the Americans’ fondness for calling their children Preston never fails to baffle and amuse!

Pity we couldn't trademark our placenames so they had to pay. I've always reckoned Corby is overdue for popularity.Grin
However, Preston, Harlow etc aren't anywhere near as bad as Harrow as they are merely placenames, not dictionary words with an unpleasant meaning.

Eton for her brother, or maybe a sibling called Bo/Beau.

Oliversmumsarmy · 07/06/2019 17:50

How about if their surname is Hill you could have Dollis, Lavender or Gants

Or surname More
Stan

Or Park

Kilburn
Wembley

Utterly ridiculous it is the equivalent of calling a child Wretched

MikeUniformMike · 07/06/2019 20:22

The surname Moore should only have one first name. Bobby. Bobbi or Bobbie for a girl.

The Harrowing of the North.
