Opinions please.

Not keen.
Prefer Rosa, or Rosalind.

RubberTreePlant · 12/05/2019 03:16

Rose is nice.
Alba is beautiful.
Not keen on them melded together.

MyOtherProfile · 12/05/2019 03:17

Two nice names merged to make one clumsy name I'm afraid.

user1471481356 · 12/05/2019 03:26

Not a fan, sorry. Both lovely names on their own. You would have a lot of trouble with incorrect spelling and pronunciation.

NuffSaidSam · 12/05/2019 03:29

How do you pronounce it?

I would guess 'Ro-Zal-Ba'

EmmaGrundyForPM · 12/05/2019 03:32

Sorry, not a fan. How about Roseanna instead?

Aquamarine1029 · 12/05/2019 03:35

It sounds like a disease. It's awful.

Knitclubchatter · 12/05/2019 04:03

I thought it was Rosabella initially.
Then I looked again...I don’t get it, Rose Alba?

DoNotBlameMeIVotedRemain · 12/05/2019 04:10

I'm not keen either. Rose or Rosie are pretty.

FurrySlipperBoots · 12/05/2019 04:12

It sounds like a disease.

That's just what I was going to say! It does.

Roseanna is beautiful though, or Rosabelle. Or Rosalind. Or Rosie.

Complainingagain · 12/05/2019 04:13

Agree - Rose and Alba are lovely. Rosalba sounds a bit like some kind of skin infection (sorry)

FurrySlipperBoots · 12/05/2019 04:13

Or Rosamunde if you want to be a bit more unusual.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 12/05/2019 05:27

Sorry op but sounds like something you'd die of back in the 1500s.
Alba Rose is nice
Rosabelle
Bellarose
Rosalie
Rosanna
Rosamay

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 12/05/2019 08:05

Sorry no. Sounds awkward on the tongue.

Any of the previous suggestions are very nice and pretty too.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 12/05/2019 08:07

Sorry op but no.
Alba rose is lovely though.

MustardYellowJumper · 12/05/2019 08:11

Nice, particularly if you're Italian, and a beautiful meaning (white rose). (A little girly for my taste, but that's no bad thing!)

Makes me think of the Italian painter, Rosalba Carriera - a lovely historical link.

Calixtine · 12/05/2019 08:17

I like it. It’s pretty but not overly frilly.

user1471582494 · 12/05/2019 08:19

So but that's a no from me

MercyBodle · 12/05/2019 11:25

I prefer Rose.

Outofinspiration · 12/05/2019 11:26

I'm another one who immediately thought 'nasty disease'.

Bumblebeesmum · 12/05/2019 11:30

No

MikeUniformMike · 12/05/2019 11:45

No from me. Looks and sounds made up.

CloserIAm2Fine · 12/05/2019 12:11

It doesn’t look or sound nice, and if it is a mash up of Rose and Alba that’s tacky, just use Rose Alba

GCAcademic · 12/05/2019 12:18

Lol at the people saying it sounds like a skin infection, sounds made up, etc. It’s an Italian name that’s been around for centuries.

MaLittleBubbas · 12/05/2019 12:18

As I'm sure a PP has said- Rosa is lovely. Alba is lovely. Rosalba mashed together is not quite as lovely.
How about Rosalie? Rosalia? Rosaline? Rosalind? simply Rose or Rosie? imo there are a lot of Rose- names that you can choose from that are much nicer than Rosalba x
