I take your point, Name, derogatory isn’t quite the right word I was after.

I see Heidi as the same camp as Maisie, Betty, Delilah and Elsie. Not classics and will date.

parttimeateverything · 22/03/2019 08:19

Daisy

Choosinganame · 22/03/2019 08:30

Daisy. It goes fine with Phoebe.
I think it's mad that people would advise not choosing a name you like just because it doesn't 'go' with the sibling name.

PhalangeReginaPhalange · 22/03/2019 08:31

Just got to say I love all those names!!! All very personal to me too, but I would have to say Heidi

BlueMerchant · 22/03/2019 08:32

Definitely Heidi Smile

Rainbowqueeen · 22/03/2019 08:34

Daisy

Flamingosnbears · 22/03/2019 08:36

Daisy gets my vote or how about Chloe?...

Honeyroar · 22/03/2019 08:39

Phoebe’s sister is Ursula, as previously mentioned.

I’m not keen on Daisy or Heidi (particularly Heidi). They just sound like informal, light names compared to Phoebe.

daisypond · 22/03/2019 08:42

Margaret with Daisy for short?

Jessabean · 22/03/2019 09:17

Daisy I'd say.

Poppy, Pippa/Phillipa, Maisie, Harriet, Flora, Florence also go and are in the same name group to me.
Heidi doesn't not go but I'm just personally not that keen on it.

cornflakes5 · 22/03/2019 09:48

@thaegumathteth I knew a girl at university who was a twin - they were called Harriet and Phoebe!

OP, both are lovely names. Daisy is better as Heidi is a bit similar.

Hollowvictory · 22/03/2019 09:49

I don't think either goes with phoebe sorry.

MikeUniformMike · 22/03/2019 09:59

Heidi

lottiegarbanzo · 22/03/2019 10:26

Neither really 'goes'. But use what you want of course.

How about Margot nn Daisy? Daisy is a traditional nn for Marguerite but you could use it for, well, anything really.

Names I think 'go' include: Florence, Juliet, Beatrice (though could give you Phoebe and Be-be) or, continuing the celestial theme, Aurora, Callista, Ursula, Estella / Estelle / Stella, Celeste.

lottiegarbanzo · 22/03/2019 10:30

Oh, Sophie of course.

Continues the Greek theme in a way and is at a similar level of formality and cuteness, I think.

NameChange30 · 22/03/2019 11:49

I like Margot and it goes well

ButterflyOfFreedom · 22/03/2019 12:31

Not sure either goes that well with Phoebe (sorry).

I prefer the name Daisy to Heidi though.

Sophronia · 22/03/2019 12:47

Heidi

BlueChampagne · 22/03/2019 12:59

Heidi

JemSynergy · 22/03/2019 13:01

I love them both....sorry no help! :)

ReginaPhalange89 · 22/03/2019 13:19

I think Heidi goes better :) quite like that too , has the same sort of feel as Phoebe. Daisy is too cutesy , doesn't go well.

midsomermurderess · 22/03/2019 13:29

Phoebe's sister is Penelope. Neither.

FizzySci · 22/03/2019 13:44

Phoebe's sister is Chloe.

Hazlenutpie · 22/03/2019 13:48

Heidi

I know far too many dogs called Daisy, to consider the name for a child.
