What do you think of Everly for a girl?
Heard it some time ago and really struggling to find girls name to go with sibling Noah.
What do you think? Particularly like Everly Rose. Would call her Everly Rose on a day to day basis but not hyphenated it.
Thanks.

I like Everly Rose but I would definitely put Rose as the middle name. Really not keen on two names as a first name. You could still call her Everly Rose

aliceandkids77 · 13/03/2019 09:54

Oooh yes I think Everly Rose is gorgeous! I know a girl who spells it Everleigh which is beautiful too if you like that spelling x

Not a fan, short names that sound similar to Noah
Etta
Luna
Gaia
Clara

not a fan of double barrelled first names ,seemed to be fashion here a few years back ...if Noah soudns good for a boy would suggest your surname works well with that sort of sound....

sirmione16 · 13/03/2019 10:11

I loved it too but it was on the list of top 20 most popular in our area for last year and that's put me off :( I've seen a lot of name threads of here for everly and everlyn etc too

Happyandglorious · 13/03/2019 10:30

Not a fan.
Noah is strong and stylish imo.
Everly is silly made up and seems American.
I agree wth pp who suggested

chiarazuri · 13/03/2019 10:32

I like it! Sounds more like a surname though as someone mentioned earlier, but still a pretty name!

Sophronia · 13/03/2019 23:31

Trendy and American, it will definitely date.

brookshelley · 14/03/2019 00:32

Will “American” ever STOP being an insult on this website?

She's just saying how it sounds in a UK context. That's not an insult.

TitilatedOcelot · 14/03/2019 08:30

My first reaction was that it sounds like a made up word, along the lines of bigly. Sorry 😐

EstrellaDamn · 14/03/2019 08:35

Ooh it's very sweet and lovely ❤️

How do you know OP is in the UK? Internet is accessible all around the world. I'm not in the UK (not in the US either) and I know an Everly, most people think it's a lovely name.

FGS calm down.

It's a mainly British site, so generally posters using British English get taken for Brits.

You have no idea what "most people" think about the name.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 14/03/2019 12:23

No sorry. Looks made up and I think it will date.
