Boy & Girl name ideas for new baby business

keetee83 · 15/02/2019 13:05

Hi guys,

Looking for some inspiration for a new baby-related business (can't give too much away just now) - but initial thoughts were for a boy and girl combo, but most of the ones we like have been taken (Tilly & Max, Lottie & Oscar)

Any suggestions welcome!

p.s. There may well be a lovely free gift (around £30 value, baby/toddler related) in it for someone if we do chose a name from this thread!

You need to come up with something new and different. There are so many companies with 'cute name' names. They all merge into one. What is it you're actually selling? Maybe we can help with some other ideas?

Like others are saying, they all merge into one for me. The only two I embeber are aden & anais and my sister's one, and I only remember here because I have too! They are so samey, go for something different or interesting, you're much more likely to stand out than trying to stay yet another business with two names as its brand name!

I agree with PP about it being white British middle class. Maybe something a bit different, appealing to a multi cultural country and high on the agenda currently about gender neutral clothes/ toys (I know you can't tell us more about the business).

Agree that these types of names are done, I don't remember any of them anymore.

If it's clothing, I'm happy to part for a bit of cash for really nice stuff (very lucky with hand me-downs for DS so I feel like I can justify splurging a bit on the stuff I buy him Blush) and to be honest I just scroll on past all of the brands that have these types of names. They just make me assume the clothes are going to be samey because the name is samey. Sorry if that sounds a bit blunt and I don't mean to be rude in anyway, but I know I'd want an honest opinion.

Can you give us any clues about the nature of the business?

I light-heartedly came on here to suggest Nigel and Denise or Terry and Trisha

But I can properly offer Mo and Minnie
