I find boys names really difficult. I don't like anything too "unique" but all the sort of common ones I just don't love either .

Cooper , Fletcher and Spencer have came up in discussion and we both seem to like these . Any suggestions of something similar ?

Or any other suggestions of names you love that aren't so uncommon they're wierd lol

Onestep, Gulliver was known as Gilly by friends, but Gulliver by the teacher.

My primary was in the catchment area of the Art College so several of out pupils were the children of Art lecturers and students, hence the wonderful names. We also had a girl called Alexia which I still think is a beautiful name.

OP as you like the sound of surnames why not look at both your family trees to see if there are any surnames there that appeal to you. You then have the advantage of explaining your choice by saying ‘it’s a family name’.
Another source for less used names is places. Any favourite places that mean something to you and DH? Lewis is used a lot but there must be less used place names you like
