Hey! We are currently 32+6 with our second. We are really struggling for names. We don't know gender.
Our son is called Edward. Our son came early and was baby no name for 3 weeks, and it was a nightmare with people continually asking what baby is called, and we only agreed on that because it was the only name both of us were ok with.I would like to be a little bit more organised this time and have a name we both like without settling.
Please give me your opinions on our shortlist and any suggestions you may have
GIRLS - middle names Sylvia Rose or Elizabeth Anne
Alice
Beatrice
Francesca
Katie
Emily

BOYS - middle names Stephen George or Stephen Charles
Robin
Tobias/Toby
Rory
Felix
Hugo

TIA hopefully this baby can have a name in a couple of days :) sprout is loosing its appeal Wink

IRLS - middle names Sylvia Rose or Elizabeth

Anne - I love the simplicity, also like Anest, Annis, and Annelise

Alice - nice but done to death. Elsbeth?

Beatrice - nice but somewhat overused

Francesca - nice, newly popular, I prefer Frances

Katie - if it’s short for the elegant Katharine, or a variation

Emily - nice but done to death. Emma would stand out more now.

BOYS - middle names Stephen George or Stephen

Charles - he’ll be Charlie and there are SO many of them. But it’s ok and solid

Robin - if it’s short for Robert, I think some boys might find Robin a wee bit effeminate

Tobias/Toby - nice, prefer Tobias as a full name

Rory - I love it but done to death. Ronan?

Felix - I don’t like it for some reason but it’s fine. Francis?

Hugo - quite of the moment. Prefer Hugh.

Was going to comment on your OP but glimpsed the suggestion of Winston and it gets my vote.

GIRLS - middle names Sylvia Rose or Elizabeth Anne

  • Elizabeth Anne for sure. Don't like Sylvia and Rose seems to be the go to middle name for girls nowaddays

Alice
Beatrice
Francesca
Katie
Emily
All ok, but the ones I like best and would be happy to use are Kate/Katie and Alice

BOYS - middle names Stephen George or Stephen Charles
Slightly prefer Stephen Charles

All ok but R names currently too popular
Prefer Hugh to Hugo, which is too trendy

Oh well, I should have read the last post of the thread before posting, but the photo of a cute baby is always good. She'll be 4 soon.
