If not Juliette. Any suggestions?

So after my last post about DP not being sure about Juliette as he hates the potential for possible DD (we don’t know the sex) to be nicknamed Julie.
Which nearly everyone agreed with me was extremely, if not completely unlikely.

I’m looking for any suggestions for alternatives. I still love Juliette so I find hard to think of anything else. Plus he hasn’t outright refused to use it yet.

DD1 has a long name so I feel like possible DD2 should be similar (I’ll post DD1s name in a separate comment).
I also prefer classic names but less common with a literary, Greek mythology or botantical reference.

So please, give me some inspiration 🙏🏻

Doesn’t he realise the most likely shortening is going to be Jools?

Unless he has a particular aversion for Mr Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Band, it’s a risk I’d be willing to take

To him it seems the obvious shortening and I can see why now as it’s literally the first half of the name.
But to me (and many people it seems) it is the least likely one.
It’s never even occurred to me that Juliette would become Julie.

@whattimeisitnow I do like a lot on that list abs have had them on mine - Daphne has been a consideration but just don’t love it. Vivienne I do really like but I think it would get pronounced as Vivian where we live (which I really don’t like).

Juliet is only one letter longer than Julie. No need for shortening if you don't spell it with the extra -te ending.

I know a Juliet Annabelle who is known as Etta which I think is lovely.

Julie really isn't likely.

Calista is beautiful. Beatrice. Both were on my list.

I remembered a few others that I considered. Just in case you like them:

Valentina
Lucia
Gwendolen

or maybe something from literature:
Elinor
Marianne/ Marianna
Miranda
Beatrice/ Beatrix
Cordelia
Octavia
Estella
Sylvia
Livia

I still think Juliet is lovely and unlikely to be shortened to Julie.

Karenza
Rowena
Eloisa
ILona
Carmen
Kathleen
Marguriette

I love Juliet and a close favourite is Jocelyn, which I haven't yet seen suggested.
