Inspired by the Grandad thread!

Mine were Elizabeth and Hilda. One is a great name that I'd use, the other not so much.

Harriet and Frances. Born in the 1880’s. Gosh that makes me feel old! My mother would have been over 100 now if she was still alive.

RoseMartha Violet and Grace struck me as lovely names for twins for some reason! Smile

Mine were Lorna (Australian) and Nellie (English). I think Nellie is lovely but she hated it and always went by a nickname derived from her surname

Audrey Dorothy Clara was my Dads mum. I love all those names and would have loved any of them for DD but DH vetoed them all.

Other granny was Joyce Ethel.

DDs middle name is Joy in remembrance of her.

Mabel and Elizabeth.
Elizabeth is my middle name, and if I'd ever had a girl, she would have been Mabel (if I'd been able to sneak it past dh!).

Joan and Sibyl - funnily enough, she was Sibyl in her birth certificate but Sybil in real life. Apparently, it was always though my great grandad misspelt it but there is a designer called Sibyl Dunlop......

Olive and molly ( Margaret Mary)
DH Ada and Bride (Irish Bridgette)

tappitytaptap · 19/01/2019 22:39

Mary and Irene. Would have used Mary as a middle name if I'd had a DD but have 2 DSs and no plans for more!

creamcheeseandlox · 19/01/2019 22:39

Rachel and Rebecca.

Justgivemesomepeace · 19/01/2019 22:40

One Mary one Gladys. One lovely name, one not so great and she wouldn't mind me saying so.
