Hi,

Considering this name for my newborn DD. Interested to know how most people would spell this without being told, and are some versions more typically used for a boy rather than a girl?

Really not sure what the usual spelling is and not keen to give her a name she has to spell out her whole life. I'm in Surrey if it helps.

Thanks

Really prefer Skye tbh.

Schuyler is how I'd spell it, but only for a boy. Skylar/Skyler looks more feminine, probably because it has sky in it, but all the spellings you've suggested look odd to me, if you're in the UK. Skye is lots better and really nice. Or how about Skye Lark (first name and middle name)? Skye Lara?

Schuyler - I know a lovely young lady with the name spelled this way

Skye is a much prettier name and it's a beautiful island.
