Ophelia, like pps said, sounds like 'oh-feela-ya', which is slightly strange. And there's the sad end of the original Ophelia too. I'd prefer Olivia or Octavia.

Constance is a bit stuffy.

Ophelia. Second choice Jemima shortened to Mimi. I find Constance dull and Persephone a bit OTT.

They're not really my taste , but out of the 4 probably Ophelia. Although I do love the nn Connie, just not keen on the full version!

Not a huge fan of any, but would go for Constance. Connie is sweet.

I don't understand why Ophelia is popular. It's most famous association is with a Shakespearean tragic heroine who goes mad and drowns herself. Persephone isn't much better... Kidnapped, dragged to the Underworld and forced to remain there for 6 months each year while the world above withered in grief.

I don’t really like any... I think Ophelia and Persephone are nice names but I wouldn’t go for them because of the associations.
Ramona is nice!

I love that name.

I was going to name DD Ophelia but it IS too too. It’s up there with India and Cosima. Also, she’s a woefully tragic character, Ophelia is.

Well theye all too posh for me. where I'm from people would look at me like I head 10 heads, if i came out with one of those names. WinkGrin
However if I was vair posh I'd go with Persephone.
